Adventurous supporters of Anti-Slavery International now have the opportunity to take part in organized sponsored running events taking place all over the UK to raise money to help combat slavery.

Challenge of the Month: Silverstone Half Marathon

Date: 11 March 2012 (Sunday)
The adidas half marathon takes place at the historic Silverstone motor racing circuit. Whether you are attempting your first half marathon, or using this event as a training run for the Virgin London Marathon, this race is for you. And with public online entry now closed you can only get a place in the race if you run for charity.

Other runs

We also already have guaranteed places for British 10k this year.         

With London Marathon online ballot already closed why not consider running one of the other big ones? We don't have guaranteed places for them but the places are easy to secure, the fundraising targets are lower and surroundings of Paris or Rome can make the run of your life an unforgettable one. Please check the following runs:

• Paris Marathon, 15 April 2012, 
• Rome Marathon, 18 March 2012, (we can offer guaranteed places for this event. Please email j.sobik@antislavery.org for more details)
  
• Edinburgh Marathon, May 2012, 

We promise to provide you with all the support and encouragement you may need along the way by providing:

• An Anti Slavery International running vest or T-shirt
• A comprehensive fundraising pack with ideas and material to help drum up support for your run

• A tailored online fundraising page
• Team helpline

And to prove to your sponsors you actually completed the your run you will receive the Anti-Slavery certificate along with a small gift.
